Travel Industry Study Program Accompanies Taro Village in the International Event Best Tourism Village (BTV) by UN Tourism 2025

Gianyar, 13 February 2025 - The Bachelor of Travel Industry Study Program, Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University, carried out assistance activities to Taro Tourism Village, Gianyar Regency, in order to prepare the village to participate in the Best Tourism Village (BTV) by UN Tourism 2025.


This assistance is part of the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) that has been established between the Travel Industry Study Programme and Taro Tourism Village. This activity focused on technical and substance assistance in preparing BTV submission documents, identifying the village's superior potential, and strengthening community-based destination sustainability strategies.


This activity reflects the commitment of the Bachelor of Travel Industry Study Programme in supporting the development of tourism villages towards international recognition, while strengthening the synergy between higher education and local community empowerment within the framework of sustainable tourism.
