The Field of Expertise Group (KBK) in Tourism Planning & Development focuses on the planning, management, and development of tourism destinations in an integrated and sustainable manner. This KBK covers tourism system analysis, spatial planning, development of tourist attractions, and the application of sustainability concepts such as Tri Hita Karana.
It also emphasizes local community involvement, resource management, and environmental impacts in destination development. The objective is to create competitive and sustainable destinations that provide long-term benefits for local communities.
