Overview
The Field of Expertise Group (KBK) in Culture & Inclusivity focuses on the study of cultural values, local wisdom, and the application of inclusivity principles in the tourism industry. This KBK examines the interaction between tourists and local communities, cross-cultural understanding, and ethics in tourism services.
In addition, this KBK emphasizes the importance of developing tourism that is accessible and welcoming to all groups without discrimination, including vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities. Therefore, tourism development is not only oriented toward economic outcomes but also toward cultural preservation and respect for social diversity.
