IPW Study Program, Faculty of Tourism, Unud, is Ready to Apply Case Based Learning and Project Based Learning
BUKIT JIMBARAN, EDITORIAL TEAM – Undergraduate Travel Industry Study Program (IPW) Faculty of Tourism Unud is ready to apply problem-solving-based learning. As a first step, the IPW Study Program continues to promote a series of preparations in the form of equalizing perceptions and training aimed at improving the competence of lecturers, as was held at the Go Bali Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Friday (5/8) yesterday.
The focus of discussion in this training includes the essence of problem-solving-based learning which includes objectives, stages to learning methods along with examples which are explained in depth by I Dewa Made Bayu Atmaja Darmawan from LP3M Udayana University.
The choice of this method is not only because it is already 75% required in the MBKM program, it is also considered very suitable for the character of current students.
It is hoped that the development of this learning method can provide space for students to be creative in identifying cases, reviewing, and concluding the results appropriately so as to speed up the decision-making process and action.
In addition to improving the competence of lecturers, this activity is also the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) number 7, namely collaborative and participatory classes, so that the campus and lecturers are able to create a quality academic atmosphere, involve students as well as stimulate their involvement in the learning process at the university. class.
This activity also involved not only IPW Study Program lecturers, lecturers of Applied Hospitality Management Study Program and Tourism Bachelor Study Program also attended. (DW)
